BOOKINGS AND
DEPOSITS
A provisional booking will be held for two weeks. We
must receive the completed and signed booking form,
and
a deposit for each member of the party and you must receive
confirmation of the booking, before a booking is regarded
and
confirmed.
A deposit of £10 per person for a weekend booking and £20 per person for a week booking is required with your booking form
MINIMUM NUMBERS
The following reflects the minimum numbers of guests required
to qualify for exclusive use of the facilities:
House March to October (inclusive) 40 Guests
Other Months 30 Guests
Mews All Year 15 Guests
House and Mews All Year 70 Guests
These limits may be varied at our discretion. If final
numbers drop below the booked minimum, then 75% of the
appropriate charge will be made for each place under the
minimum.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
Contact 1 - Provisional
A provisional booking made by telephone, email or letter will be held for two weeks. In the absence of a firm booking this date will be made available to other groups without notice
Contact 2 - Booking Contract
A firm booking is received in writing and accompanied by the appropriate deposit. Booking will be confirmed by receipt.
Contact 3 -Interim Invoicel
Will be sent 8 weeks prior to the visit and payment should be made by return of post
Contact 4 - Final numbers & notification of special diets
Proforma will be sent out by email or letter, final numbers need to be received at least two weeks prior to visit
Contact 5 - Final Invoice
To be paid within 30 days of the visit
CANCELLATION
Cancellations MUST be made in writing; the following charges will be incurred -
Cancellation 26 weeks or more prior to visit - Charged at deposit rate only
Cancellation within 25 weeks of visit - Charged at 25% of full cost
Cancellation within13 weeks of visit - Charged at 50% of full cost
Cancellation within 4 weeks of visit - Charged at 75% of full cost
Late payment
In the rare instance that a group does not settle their final account within 30 days of their visit a surcharge of 1% on the outstanding balance to cover administrative costs will be incurred for each month thereafter until the account is settled.
LIABILITY
Dunfield House Limited cannot accept responsibility for your losses or for expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine
or any other causes. We cannot accept responsibility for
money / or property of guests, unless specifically given to us for safekeeping.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover for your group prior to, during your stay and until your return home. |
