BOOKINGS AND
DEPOSITS
A provisional booking will be held for three weeks. We
must receive the completed and signed booking form,
and
a deposit for each member of the party and you must receive
confirmation of the booking, before a booking is regarded
and confirmed.
Deposits are: £20.00 per person per week and £10.00
per weekend. In each case this is exclusive of VAT which
will be added at the current rate of 17.5%. Should the
VAT rate change then the deposit amount will change accordingly.
MINIMUM NUMBERS
The following reflects the minimum numbers of guests required
to qualify for exclusive use of the facilities:
House March to October (inclusive) 40 Guests
Other Months 30 Guests
Mews All Year 15 Guests
House and Mews All Year 70 Guests
These limits may be varied at our discretion. If final
numbers drop below the booked minimum, then 75% of the
appropriate charge will be made for each place under the
minimum.
OUTSTANDING BALANCE
The outstanding balance is payable for the number that
gives exclusive use 30 days before the visit, and the
final balance adjustments are payable 30 days after your
visit.If payment has not been made by that date, we reserve
the right to cancel the booking.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation to be made in writing and on receipt of such
the following charges will be made.
More than 26 weeks - Deposit only
26 - 14 weeks - 25%
13 - 4 weeks - 50%
less than 4 weeks - 75%
These will apply unless Dunfield House is able to re-book
the facility with another organisation for the period
originally booked by those cancelling, in which case
only the deposit is non-refundable.
.If no written cancellation is received by the expected
date of arrival, then payment in full will be required.
LIABILITY
We do not accept responsibility for losses or for expenses
due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine
or any other causes. We cannot accept responsibility for
money / or property of guests, unless specifically lodged
with us for safekeeping.
INSURANCE
We suggest that each group takes out appropriate insurance
to cover the cost of anyone unable to attend or for any
unforeseeable loss. |
