Christian/Church Based Gatherings
Dunfield House lends itself to your church community being together as a family. The layout of the house and bedrooms enables families, teenagers and couples to be accommodated in bedrooms that suit them and the varied activities available in and around the house enable you to plan your programme knowing there is plenty for all ages to do. Whether it is sitting with the morning papers with the view of Hergest ridge from the lounge with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea [which is available 24 hours a day] or small groups going off for walks, playing football or swimming.
The communal areas encourage people to mix and to share together, and you are never short of people to serve in the tuck shop.
The chapel with its stained glass window as a focal point of the room or the recreation hall where you can set up a band on the stage, data projectors etc etc provide you with the setting to plan your worship and study.
There is the option to book either the whole site if your party is 65 people or more, or book the house [65 beds] or the Stables [22 beds] as an independent unit, there will only, if ever, be one other group onsite and our policy is to book like minded groups and ages together when two groups are onsite.
We are happy to put you in touch with group leaders from 2010 who have run church based activities at Dunfield over many years.
