Music Courses

Practice, Produce & Perform to Parents at Dunfield or at school following your trip.

These individually designed courses for primary schoolchildren (key stages 1 and 2) are led by an experienced class teacher (we are currently using Tony Veal, who is an instrumentalist and conductor with vast experience of running courses such as these). The residential courses (2 – 4 days) are of great educational value to the children.  the courses are  planned to support individual schools in their own curricular programme.

Examples of Course Content:

* Group workshops using percussion instruments
* Learning to play the recorder as a class project
* Singing techniques and choir training
* Conducting/repertoire for the school orchestra
* Linking music with key stages 1 and 2 projects
* An intensive course, combined with art, dance and drama
